About
Our Sydney studio is all about creating beautiful upholstery and soft furnishings with love and skill. John started his upholstery apprenticeship in 1985 in a family run business in Suffolk, UK, making custom upholstery for people with disabilities. This taught him how to make comfortable, strong, and unique pieces, building the foundation for his amazing career. He’s worked on projects like the Harrods tea rooms in London and private jets in Switzerland, always focusing on quality and style. Now in Sydney, John brings his expertise to every project he creates.

Liza began sewing curtains in a tiny workroom for clients across West London in 1997 after studying at Central St Martins Art School. Her passion for design and making beautiful furnishings led her to formally learn the craft at the National Design Academy. Her work took her to Asia, where she teamed up with incredible clients and worked on meaningful projects. Now in Sydney, Liza adds her creative touch and passion to every piece.
Together, we blend our skills to make upholstery and soft furnishings that are comfy, stylish, and well-made. From custom curtains to bespoke upholstery, our Sydney studio creates pieces that bring warmth and charm to your space.
